The journey is almost as exciting as the destination when you take a trip to the Pender Island British Columbia Tennis Club. A short ferry ride from Vancouver or Victoria takes you across the Salish Sea to this gulf island that lies between the US and Canada. The Saturday Farmers' market on Pender Island is a favorite activity that runs 9:30am-1pm from Easter to Thanksgiving. It features produce and meat from many of the small farms on the island, baked goods, crafts, jewelry and entertainment....You can even get a massage after you tennis game.
